2024 What a Year
Oh my, where do we even begin? It feels like ages since I've properly caught up with you all! This past summer has been a whirlwind of weddings, and it has been absolutely incredible. From the grandeur of stately churches to the intimacy of rustic barns, and even the most enchanting of back gardens, I've had the honor of bringing your floral dreams to life.
We've designed everything from cascading ceremony backdrops and whimsical aisle meadows to tablescapes overflowing with personality. And wherever possible, we've incorporated the beauty of British blooms, adding a touch of wildness and movement to each and every arrangement.
Life threw a curveball this summer too – enter Ophelia Rose, our third little miracle, who decided to make a surprise early appearance! Let's just say there were a few last-minute wedding creations completed amidst contractions, followed by a whirlwind 24 hours at the hospital. But true to Bloomify spirit, I was back at it the very next day!
This summer also saw the wonderful addition of Emma to the Bloomify team. From the moment she joined, she perfectly embodied the Bloomify ethos – a love for curated wild blooms and a passion for creating something truly special. Emma brought a fresh energy and a much-needed pair of hands, allowing me to step back from the shop and focus on weddings and, of course, little Ophelia. Thank you Emma for all your hard work! I can’t wait to have you back involved in 2025!
And finally, the biggest news of all: we've said goodbye to our beloved shop on Cross Street! It wasn't an easy decision, but ultimately, we realized that the shop wasn't the ideal space for a thriving wedding and event floristry business. While there were definitely a few tears shed along the way, we know it was the right decision.
So, what's next for Bloomify? Watch this space! Exciting things are brewing..
